I think that speaking about peace to a six year old boy or girl is useless unless you manage to link such an abstract name with something more tantigle like everyday life in our classroom, when they must learn that pushing aside a classmate or calling names is not the way to ask for help or love.
Doves are nice, a great symbol, no doubt, but teaching our children to admit and deal with their own feelings I think is much more useful.
Creo que hablar de paz a niños de seis años es inútil a menos que relacionemos un concepto tan abstracto con algo más tangible como es el día a día en el aula. Apartar de un empujón a un compañero o insultarle no es la manera de pedir ayuda o cariño.
La paloma de la paz está muy bien, un gran símbolo sin duda alguna, pero darles a nuestro niños herramientas para que reconozcan y acepten sus sentimiento creo que es mucho mas útil para trabajar la PAZ.
